We installed high-speed Wi-Fi across more than 200 LA Metro trains, delivering reliable onboard connectivity under a strict project deadline. Our team met the schedule efficiently through strong installation experience, careful planning, and close coordination with LA Metro staff throughout the project.

Working hand in hand with Metro personnel, we coordinated installation windows to ensure all specifications were met while minimizing service disruptions. This approach allowed each train to remain out of service for only a couple of days at a time, keeping the overall rollout on track and supporting a modern, connected rider experience in advance of the Los Angeles Olympic Games.

We work with a wide variety of vendors, manufacturers, software providers, and end user clients. We would like to highlight a few of our on-going projects that demonstrate our abilities and strengths.

Smile Select Dental IT Support Services and Carestack

As part of our Managed Services Provider role, we have supported Smile Select Dental and its six office locations by managing and maintaining critical technology systems across the organization. Our work has included oversight of their network infrastructure, remote access capabilities, data backup systems, X-ray, CVT-Scanner, Printers, Dental Software, and 3D imaging tools, as well as the migration and integration of their practice management solution. This comprehensive support helps ensure that both clinical and administrative systems remain reliable, secure, and fully operational across all locations.

By working closely with staff and responding quickly to technical issues, we help minimize disruptions to daily operations and maintain an efficient patient experience. Our team focuses on resolving problems promptly so that office workflows continue smoothly and patients do not experience unnecessary delays in service.

Peacock Systems is the prime contractor for LA Metro’s pilot program to deploy and evaluate E-Paper passenger information displays along Vermont Avenue in Los Angeles, California. In partnership with Papercast, we are supporting the deployment, maintenance, and documentation of this technology to help assess its performance, reliability, and overall effectiveness in improving the rider experience.

This project reflects Peacock Systems’ experience in delivering advanced transit technology solutions and working closely with agency partners and technology providers to implement modern passenger information systems.

UPS Batteries for Substations Los Angeles MetroLink

As part of a maintenance contract for Metrolink, we supported the procurement and recommendation of the appropriate battery systems for installation at multiple substations throughout the network. Our team evaluated the application requirements and worked closely with Metrolink to identify a solution that would provide reliable backup power, meet performance expectations, and align with project budget requirements.

To deliver the best overall value, we partnered with EnerSys to supply a resilient backup battery solution designed to perform well in this demanding application. This approach allowed us to recommend a product that offers strong reliability and long-term performance while remaining within Metrolink’s approved budget.
